Breast Cancer Charity Event at Food Sorcery
Prevent Breast Cancer had 2 fantastic nights raising £2,700 with 30 chefs creating some of the most sensational dishes for us all to enjoy.
We held 2 events. The first, a Masterchef Street food event where chefs worked in pairs, bought their own food and created 2 delicious dishes for 40 people.
We then organised an Invention Test. Chefs worked in teams of four, they were given a selection of ingredients then had 90 minutes to decide what to cook and then prepare 2 dishes for 40 people.
Guests were invited to both events to eat drink and judge the challenge.
Food Sorcery were the most amazing hosts. The chefs were outstanding, and the guests were wined and dined in style.

“What an amazing evening we had at the Masterchef Invention Challenge. We didn’t know what to expect and it really pushed us to the limit of ingenuity……. we were astounded at the inventiveness and dedication of the other teams – and their food was delicious!! Our guests had a great evening as well, and of course the best part was trying out everyone’s creations. I asked my sister yesterday if she would do it again and she said yes like a shot. We really loved the atmosphere, all the help from the team at Food Sorcery, all the equipment and support they provide and of course the incredible range of food that was available to us. “Receiving an invite to be witness to the charity cook off both intrigued and excited me. Being an avid fan of both MasterChef and the idea of being able to try a selection of different foods I was unable to turn down the opportunity. On the night I was impressed with the organisation of the event, the atmosphere was electric, and nobody was restricted, we were all able to move around the kitchen and immerse ourselves into the action as it was happening. A massive congratulations to everyone who took part you are all certainly very skilled in the kitchen!
