MEMBER UPDATE - COVID-19
Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support during 2020. We have adapted your club to meet guidelines and created an environment that is safe for both our members and staff.
The Waterside Leisure Club’s doors remain open and it is now more important than ever that we follow our safety procedures so we can continue to operate.
As the situation continues to evolve, we would like to re-iterate some of the measures we have in place to keep us all safe.
Face Coverings
Face coverings are mandatory in public areas of the hotel. We request that you wear your face covering in reception and in the Coffee Shop & Restaurant, until seated. If you are using the Leisure Club, please wear your face covering upon entering reception. Once you are through the turnstiles and in the foyer area of the Leisure Club, face coverings are optional.
Hand Sanitising
Upon entering the club, we require you to sanitise your hands using the dispenser at the front door. We will soon be providing additional sanitising stations in this area.
Cleaning of equipment
Whilst we have extensive cleaning measures in place throughout the day and overnight, we would like to remind all members to clean their equipment using the sanitising wipes and sprays provided after every use.
Club Occupancy
Our booking system has been working especially well and our usage levels are well within the boundaries set. However, we are aware that some areas of the club are more popular such as the Resistance Area and Spa. Our Gym Team will monitor this throughout the day and if we are over-occupied at any time, you may be politely asked to move to a quieter area of the club. Please be respectful to our staff who are following protocols to keep everyone safe.
Class Bookings
We have been continuously working to ensure our classes are accessible for as many of you as possible. If you cannot attend a class you have booked for, please cancel with no less than an hours’ notice prior to class so those on the waiting list can attend in your place.
