FIT TIP: Be aware of the scales
We need to be aware that scales only read weight and not fat or other important health factors such as muscle mass and metabolic age. During the initial weeks of training, it’s not unusual for members to actually gain valuable metabolic boosting muscle to help burn fat which in turn could actually increase the number on the scales.
